Keep it running… repair that treadmill

Running your way to fitness” this mantra has been modified over the years and gone through many phases from the conventional track running to the non motorized treadmills to the modern day fully equipped high tech treadmills which provide you with a gazillion programs to choose from and customize the way you run. But one thing has always remained the focus of the manufactures and that has been the sturdiness of the treadmill. But with all the stress, wear and tear and varied usage a treadmill has to go through it’s just has become the most vulnerable equipment out of all the fitness equipment.

Treadmill repair has been given to a completely separate department at some repair and maintenance facilities due to a massive rate of repair and maintenance queries coming in for this highly purchased equipment. According to a survey on an average one out of five households has a treadmill. So one can imagine the number of these machines out there and the sales keep going up.

Purchasing a treadmill is not that costly an affair but to purchase one every year just gets on your nerves and wrecks your budget. With a large number of moving parts and high friction environments adding fuel to the fire, breakdowns are meant to happen and even the smallest of the hiccups in the machinery can cause a perfectly good treadmill to halt and give you nightmares. The solution to this demon of a problem is to get your home treadmill repaired rather than just throwing it away. In most of the cases the problem is as minor as a broken hinge or a burnt up wire or a loose connection and minor repairs can just fix it up in a small interval of time saving your hard earned money.
